DiversCity in Law

You’re an LGBTQ+ undergrad or postgrad student, and you want to pursue a legal career in the City. Come to us. DiversCity in Law is an award-winning, annual event (now in its ninth year) where LGBTQ+ students can find out all about legal careers, and get advice from those already in the sector.

What’s the event about?

Our aim? To help students feel more confident about applying to top law firms and then supporting them on their journey.

UP: Uncovering Prospects

For university students of black heritage across different sectors.

What’s the event about?

Uncovering Prospects is in partnership with Elevation Networks. This is an internship and graduate event for high-potential students of black heritage considering careers in the City. Run in partnership with Elevation Networks, the event includes informative presentations, panel discussions and informal networking. It gives attendees the chance to learn from, and connect with, professionals working in banking, consultancy, asset management, oil and gas.

What’s the event about?

As our largest student diversity event that originated over seven years ago, FreshLook sets the standard. It’s a trailblazing, profile-raising interbank event, designed to introduce first year female-identifying students to the full range of careers in investment banking.

Eighty female-identifying Year 12 and Year 13 students from a large number of London’s best state schools attend the event, which is hosted by some of the top investment banks. Teachers are also welcome to accompany students during the informational and interactive group sessions, all aimed to teach them about the different roles in banking.

What’s the event about?

Our LGBTQ+ interbank event, Inside and Out, will be eleven years old this summer.
The first event made national headlines, and it’s been going from strength to
 strength ever since. We help participating banks’ Pride networks engage directly 
with top talent from the LGBTQ+ student community, to challenge traditional
 perceptions of the banking industry.
